Mood: Has change happened...must of missed it!
Thats the pressure plate release bearing. you can gently tap it out from out to in using a couple of sockets as has been said, then fit into the new plate. Oh dont forget the little cap that sits in the bearing.........that the rod sits in.

Make sure you put the push rod back in the correct way round!
