And I wouldnt mind some advice on this.

Had a call from the 'wintness care programme' These clowns are now pleading not guilty (depsite there being 2 policemen as wintnesses and my written statement.??!!), and the (civvy) woman told me that it would go to trial and they would send me a letter asking for any dates I couldnt attend.

I pointed out that I said in my statement I almost certainly wouldnt attend, and she repsonded saying that legally I would have to if required, and the court can use things like summons.

I then responded by saying that after her saying that, she had defintley made my mind up for me and I wouldnt be forced in to a corner..I also added that the police office put in my statement that I probably wouldnt attend which she accepted.

Surely they cant MAKE you go to court..??
