Went for an Barium x ray today , and they had a tv next to the bed most bizzare watching a tube go down through my stomach into my large intestines and then watching everything moving about as the doc prodded my stomach with his hand . it was just like that bit in a film i can't remember where they guy walks though an xray machine and you can see all his bones etc , i looked at my hips and my spine and all the long squiggly bits of my insides

Had both done under sedation in one visit a few years ago before I ended up with my gall bladder being removed, can't remember it at all but apparently kept asking the nurse to get out the feckin way so I could see the TV

When ya other half is a doc and she's taking biopsies you really are watching reality tv in colour - word of advice - never fall ill near our place - health costs a lot here! God bless and protect the NHS.

Nah, you're thinking of the ancient Nepalese art of gastric cleansing practised by the Shaolin priests where they swallow one end of a bandage and wait for it to appear the other end before attaching a soapy sponge and pulling it back out again!
