70s pushbikes I remember well, The progression through the various Raleigh models. I think you started with the 'Chipper' then you went onto a 'Tomahawk' before progressing to a 'Chopper' if you were lucky. I never made it to the Chopper as a dodgy bloke opened a bicycle shop nearby selling nothing but really badly made cheap nasty eastern European bicycles that fell about in no time. He closed the shop within months after he sold all the rubbish he had and all the local kids had bikes that fell apart and you could not get bits for.

I recall a spoilt kid that lived nearby that had a bike called a 'Dragster' anyone remember them? Was yellow and had a large car style gear lever centrally mounted. Will look on ebay!
