Are they DP, and the gear lever needs to sit between the peg and the hanger?

My hammer has been confiscated

Original footpegs are now in a box somewhere never to see the light of day again.

Cheers for the offer Yeti, I really appreciate it.
There are quite a few little jobs that need doing on the bike which all take time and money (one of which I don't have a lot off) And at the moment I'm umming and arring about getting a radial brake or 4pad calipers so I don't want to put new brake fluid and bleed the system twice, so until the brakes are done it'll stay off the road in a nice warm garage.

Sounds fair enough. Would also suggest that if you gonna be mostly using it on the road, I would stick with the P4 calipers (4 pad). I assume the alternative is original equipment radials from later bikes? They are no better. Only time you will see a real imporvment is when you move into race stuff such as this, but I warn you these ain't cheap!
