To be honest, the standard can thing puts me off going. Its an absolute pain to swap the can on 999.I see on a German web*****e that db killers are available,...anyone have experience of these?
Mind you,..I could always use the Multistrasse!

I was talking about the noise thing with the Berkshire lot on Sunday. Sounds like if you follow Mav's advice about how to behave it will probably be ok. I'm prepared to chance it as I'm certainly not going to change the exhaust on my 999.

No they are not, certainly not as loud as a 996 with Ti Termis.....but,....the standard assymetric can is rated at 102db,which is over the 'Ring limit.
I just thought the easiest thing to do would be to slip in some db eaters.

The whole region is a bikers dream. A lot of first timers are not too fussed about racking up loads of laps. Even with loud cans you still normallly get some laps in. Db killers can work, just depends on the staff there at the time. (from my experiance they did not work, staff were going by the book). Just riding the roads there is worth the trip. Thats why we are looking for a house out there.

Agree with Roy, I have been a couple of times and the roads are just awesome. I took my 996 with termis on round for a couple of laps, and before that the 749S with a termi system, both times with no probs (probably shot myself in the foot this time!!!). Anyway follow mav's advice and don't rev it in the paddock until you get past the first bridge. Totally confused by who is going and who's not so have redone the listing.
