Mind you,..I could always use the Multistrasse!

Bow to the other guys experiences but I've been round on the 916 and 996r both on noisy pipes, went last year on a very quiet ST3 during our long haul European trip. The main testing area seems to be the start point but I guess they can check other places.

Would be interested in going this year and have found some really great chalet type accommodation. We usually pay big bucks and stay at the Sonnenhof which is a belting hotel with free access to the sauna and gym after doing some track time. Ideal if you've picked a ****y wet time to visit ! The chalets are self catering but you can use the hotel which is just up the road for brekky if you prefer. Very reasonably priced with garaging for bikes. When we stay at the hotel they let us put the bikes under a sheltered walkway.

If I go it will be 2 up on the ST3 so any other couples/2 uppers going and want some company riding there feel free to get in touch.

Mav, If it's a joint reccie with Kim then the Elise gets to play. We are in talks with some agents so we will have to get over for some viewings. Do really want to get the duke out again for some play.

Or you can come to a 70's throw back Hotel
Have some real nice food
Learn something that you might think you know all the answers to
use the Hotel's facilities ie: Relax, Drink fine German Beer, sod the Gym as you are there to ride your bikes!
Throw some "Big bucks" into your petrol tank and on laps of the ring and rideout's
sit on a wonderfull balcony,on a 180deg bend and watch the local's get there knee down
On the way back, we will pop into M schummackers Go kart center and do a few laps

And get waited on Hand foot and finger BY me!!

Nobody appears to have yet responed to Mav's earlier question, but I'm personally ok with the weekend of Friday 12 May. Webby & Clint have, however, indicated a preference for later in the month, so entirely happy to go with the flow...

Knowing the potential saving for the weekend of 2th May, however, may produce a more positive reaction??

Otherwise, would suggest that Mav simply goes with the few suggestions he's received so far (ie end of May) and announces a date in order to draw a conclusion to what has been an impressive effort to bring democracy to the process...put an end to the misery I say! Those that want to go later in the year can hook up with the other DSC people with the same agenda and book with Mav for a later trip...just an idea, so only restrained criticism please......
