1998 Dom, a lot of things have changed and moved on. whatever percentage of riders and bikers were in the population has increased 10 fold.... the percentage doing Trackdays and racing has increased by the same amount.

No one is doubting your past history....

but you're older, wiser, bigger, and at the end of the day, more scared of throwing it to the floor.

I think that's the key for being a fast rider. Being smooth, not battling against the bike. Just not like me

Well .. Bayliss doesn't exactly look smooth to me!!!! And I reckon he got around Cadwell ok.

So it takes all types but I agree that smooth helps the bike out more. I'm trying to smooth out my riding but when you're my size it makes it a little more difficult. Especially when you're someone who tends to brake late and hard naturally.
