What\'s that Old Nail on your avatar

So... a few of you have been asking what is the red and white thing on my Avatar. Here's a little description and some pics to follow....

The bike is my 1969 F1 BSA Rob North Rocket 3. It won the 2001 Classic Raccing MC Championship and is more regularly seen these doing track days. It pumps out about 118dBa according to the grinning marshalls at Brands and 87bhp at the rear wheel according to a host of reputable dyno people.

It will outhandle and keep pace with most 748s and has even seen off 9**s and quite frankly runs ringsround most big japs bikes as it does't need to slow down on corners. It weighs barely 155kg.

Top speed dependent on gearing is between 140 (Donington) and 125 (Cadwell).

Anyway enjoy the pics if an old three cylinder motorcycle is of interest.
