Thats the one! Had my YZF 6 years, and when it had 55000 on the clock, I removed the lights and took it racing. It was just getting too bad. 100 mph everywhere, even going to work, something was gonna give. Lost a couple of mates too. It wasn't a Volvo that made me go race though, it was the long arm of the law with an 18 month ban (144.30 mph in a 60, oops, heheh. 900 quid fine too, ouch!) I won my first novice race too, I reckon I had the same grounding as you, keeping up with big bikes on ropey old smokers.

Anyway don't ride on the road much now, the track is the way to go, like you. What do you race and where??
