| I have the DP solo tail section on my 1999 944SSie. To fit, you need to remove the original side panels, grab rail with attached tail light and the seat lock. The DP kit came with a replacement for the grab rail which was just that with the handle part sawn off and unpainted. The OEM seat lock is swapped to this part and the tail light is reattached before the whole assembly is reinstalled on the frame. The seat cover itself "grabs" the seat and is only held on by friction and the two original front allen bolts. The overall fit of the DP unit is mediocre and the area around the tail light is poor. Would I buy it again - no. |
