Would need some serious looking in to first. 999r for £10k and 749r for £71/2k. Great deals on the face of it.

Not had a proper look but I wonder if there is import tax and shipping to add. May work out cheaper to take a cheap flight and ride it back.

There are some interesting ways to buy bikes out there. I bought my first 749s from a guy in Northampton who worked out of an old corner shop (Buy Bikes Direct) who offered me a great price and a further 3% discount if I paid the full amount up front.

I ended up buying a very early (Jan 2003) Red 749s for about £1,400 less than UK list and got it in 8 days. This is when the dealers in the UK would not give any discount at all and said there was a short waiting list as the only bikes they had were demo bikes.

Worked for me.
