No way IMHO, even small amounts of petrol can kill a modern diesel fuel pump in some cases, sometimes you may get away with it but with the cost of a diesel fuel pump i wouldn't take the risk.
I've had 2 dozy drivers recently put petrol in diesel vehicles, one we were lucky with as he realised his mistake after a few litres and didn't start the van, the other cost £3000 including recovery of a stranded 7.5 tonne lorry

Admittedly driver had put 90 litres of petrol in.
