i went to have a look at this 851. it is very cheap but needed two new tyres (never a good indication that the bike has been looked after) and would soon need new brake pads, had very black oil and the garage couldn't show me any significant service history. paint was all flaking off the engine casing. garage selling on behalf of a friend of theirs and are open to offers. i suggest that this might be a good bike for someone looking for a bit of a project, with mechanical knowledge to give it a full service including new belts and the cash to spend quite a bit more than the asking price to get it up to the conditiion that all of us like to see our 851/888s in.
