| Thanks Nelly, Thats what i thought as my mate had an R6 with a Datatool alarm and there was a microswitch on the pillion seat. Was worried when I first got bike but thought at least the seat is locked. But now you can open it with your hands, seems more important than any other bike that it should have a micro switch on it. I have a certificate of fitting with 'Thatcham' on it. would i be better off letting Meta or Thatcham know as surely this is not correctly installed? Will phone dealer tommorow and ask why.
