If so those large 55mm 12-sided nuts aren't made of Ti. They are hard anodized Al-nuts. The eccentric pinch bolts and the cush drive nuts are made of Ti, however.

The torque values are as follows:

- Lefthand sprocket carrier nut: 235 Nm.
- Righthand wheel nut (L/H tread): 295 Nm.

The reason the torque values are significantly higher than the stock ones are due to the much coarser thread on the Corse nuts.

Good luck!

No they are for the standard swingingarm. They are from MPL Tuning and are standard size, just 12 sided & are Titanium.

Chris.

Chris.

OK. I only know the torque values for the 998 but I suspect the corresponding values for the 748 would be the same. Don't take my word for it, though!

- Rear wheel left hand nut: 156 Nm ± 5 %.
- Rear wheel right hand nut: 176 Nm ± 5 %.

Tighten gradually in 2-3 steps using a torque wrench until you reach the values above. Then tighten further (max 5%) until the castle nut allows for the locking pin/clip to go through the hole in the axle.

Personally, I grease the threads using Shell Retinax HDX2, but that's for the stock nuts. If I were you I'd use an anti-seize paste on that Ti nut in order to avoid galvanic corrosion between the disparate alloys in the axle and the Ti nut. Bostik Never-Seeze (http://www.neverseezproducts.com/regulargrade.htm) or similar products do the job just fine.
