| IMHO the 916 series are a bit too new as yet to have people fighting with their cash over them. Give it a another 5 to 10 years and things might be different. The foggy reps were 1998/1999 model??? so they are just another 7 or 8 year old bike at the moment. The signs are there though that in a few years time that prices could rise.
Buying a bike as an investment is a risky business, you really want to use the thing as little as possible as well which is OK if you have other bikes to use.
Anyone remember that you could buy an E type jag in the early 70's for less that £1,000 now even a basket case is well over £10,000
