first time!!

Rode a duke for the first time last night and love it!!!!!
all these years i have took the **** out of my mates for having then.and now i wish i had bought one now!!!!

It was really really funny to see your reaction after you got off it mate... you were happy and i think in some ways gutted you liked it

Come on then... give us a longer write up... what did you like ? what if anything did you dislike.... what surprised you.....

What would you change ?

you are right. i was hoping to get off it and say it was shite,but i love it!!!
the handling the power,even the noise!! thought it would feel alot slower..more like a 600..
but the power was good......but for me the best thing about it

was it felt like a real race bike!!!!Mmmmmmmmmmm

the only thing i would change,is that clutch, i couldnt live with that on the road!!!

will wait till crusty sorted out his flat spot, then will see what that is like!!

Clutch in what sense ? too heavy or too grabby because of the slipper ?

Both can be sorted fairly easy... Crusts is nice in a clutch context and doesn't really need to be blipped on the way down too much.... i imagine if cracking on a bit it would, but as it stands on road stuff, it's fine.

Heavyness of it can be sorted easily with a Slave cylinder which makes the lever a lot easier... see Crusts Monster for that one... much nicer.

nothing wrong with all that,it was only the pulling away that i didnt like,having to keep it below 2.5k!!!

Glad that there might be another Ducati owner here soon but please keep an eye on the language.

Not a problem for adults but minors are allowed to view general pages.
