Maybe be the way I ride (rpm probably average 7k when out of town) or the fuel/emissions in California but I rarely get more than 100 miles on a full tank, on either my 999 or my 996.

Ooh yeah,....light comes on around 80 miles,depending on throttle abuse
,....then start looking for a petrol station.Got about 10 miles before it ran dry.
