wow ... after reading the answers I'm glad I filled up at the services and did not push it 28 miles to the locao S/market.

Think next time the light comes on I will fill up ASAP.

Mood: Looking for a one way ticket to the 'Ring.
My ST gets about 10 miles to a litre and supposedly has a 6 litre reserve, why not fill up do 100 miles see how much fuel you then need to fill up again, this will let you know how many miles/litre you average. I'm sure your manual will tell you the size of your reserve.

The question is why does the fuel light normally come just after you've passed the petrol station, and start wondering how far too the next one?

I've got 30 miles on the 996, as for the Multi, i think it would go further with the light on than before the light came on because the fuel gauge was so ****

i was coming back from stratford upon avon when the fuel came on ,,iwas coming down the m42 i thought to my self i will make no probs .got to the top of my road and it conked out ,,im so glad i live at the bottom of a hill ,,approx 15 miles after light came on ,,,now wheres that jerry can
