As mentioned when I first fitted the Mk1 to the 996 I had to give it a tweak with a set of pliers, the bit marked in Blue in the attached pic is the bit I had to tweak and on the Mk2 there is 5 to 6 mm removed from the back edge to allow better clearance between the protector and the main crankcase.

I'll take a MK2 mate. Please PM/e-mail your Paypal address - don't mind waiting for another batch. Ian.

Thats another added to a growing list.

I have had a couple of PM's asking when the next ones will be available.
The answer to this is next week (earliest this saturday) and then hopefully another batch the week after that.

The next batch of which I understand there will be 15 will all be Mk2s and all will be going to DSC members (as indicaated by a roundel next to their board name) first as will the first 6 from the second batch of Mk2s, after that the remainder from that batch will then go to Non DSC members that have asked for one.

At the moment I have 30 still being asked for having already used up the first batch of Mk1s.

If possible there could be some available at Castle Combe where I may allow people already on the list to pickup in person to save me some trips to the post office.

I'd like one to fit a 2000 996 and one to fit a 2006 ST3S if possible

regards

Clive

Does it fit the ST4s with the front sprocket cover on (still awaiting your reply from my U2U) as I think you've done a great job on this and would really love to have one for me St4s.

I haven't replied for a couple of reasons
A, I wasn't confident of the MK1 fitting newer models
B, I hadn't initially tried a sprocket cover
C, Demand is currently out stripping supply as batch size is about 15 and 1 batch per week max
D, I don't intend to ask for payment until I have the items in my possesion ready to dispatch

12 from the first batch were distributed this week along with the two prototype Mk2s for friends to try and give me feed back.

As for engines that they will fit I'm no expert and would like to know what models the original Ducati one was sold for.

It looks like it will fit and please feel free to correct me

900SS/Monster, 888, 620/750/900SSie, ST2/3/4, 748/916/996/998, 749/999, M620/1000/S2R/S4/S4R, MultiStrada and I suspect the Sport Classic range

Kevin
PS, I'm heading off to Castle Combe tomorrow morning so will be away from a PC until Sunday evening (I hope)

Many Thanks Skids for the Update.
I'm no mechanical expert either - sorry - but my ST4s is model year 2001 if that helps.
