Hello minty70uk

Maybe no help, Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the key?
but if you lift the seat you will see two black relays, maybe one is faulty,
Its been a while but I think, I am right in saying the front wiring ie fuel pump
runs through these relays to the ecu.
You should here them click (open and close) it could be they are not resetting themselves via the ecu.
It is not common for the ecu to packup, and as the bike has been running I would of thought all is ok there.

barring checking all fuses, and wiring to and from the rectifier, neutral switch, as I am guessing the bike was running before, your replacement part.

Is there an alarm/immobliser fitted?

sorry maybe of no help.

I am sure somebody will be along soon with other options.

hope you get things sorted soon
