Thank an 'omnipotent being' they're both okay. A really nasty one. It seemed to get worse with every replay.

I think there is no question of the size/hardness of Sete's footballs, but sadly I don't think his head is as strong.
Poor Loris has only 3 clear days to get himself ready to have to jump back onboard his bike for practice on thursday in Assen.

That crash was sickening. Bit like the Silverstone WSB start of the race. But for both Ducatis to be taken out at the same time, dreadful. And the resulting race, although skilful and still exciting and awesome riding, particularly for 3rd and 4th place I thought, left things a bit flat, compared with Mugello and Rossi vs Capirossi, I thought. Still, that's racing. Risk and reward, I suppose.

Made me feel sick I know that, and then the slow motion replays, and Malandri stuck under that bike - Not nice at all

You could see the puff of smoke from Gib's helmet as he went over the bars and landed on his head and took the full impact

According to the Ducati website, Sete's ambulance was involved in an accident on the way to the hospital....

Almost?

He did beat a couple of old Ducati's.

Incidently, YOU could have been 12th

I suppose he did finish at least

To finish first, first you have to finish....

That was one hell of a crash though...

So who will stand in for Gibbers at Assen? Guareshi or whatever he is called? Bayliss????
