More weight and it looks naff. I don't see the appeal.

Yes I can see where you are coming from about being naff, just checked what your taste is !! (see picture )

As for the weight difference you must be a GP god if you can tell about 20grammes difference.

iang:

Alright 20grams is about the same as scarpping the bugs off the light and naff comes down to taste.

However don't bring the Monster in as a judge of my taste. It was my first ever bike after passing my test. I was damn proud of it and still am. As an introduction to larger capacity bikes it was excellent.

I'm only 21 and hadn't been working for long so had little money to splash on the latest and greatest. Insurance sure works against you too. I've now moved up to a 750SS which is nicer, a bit faster and still within the realms of reasonable to insure. One day I'd love to have a full on race rep' but while still in my early twenties I doubt it will be any day soon.

I hope I took your comment the wrong way, sorry if I did.

Yeh, Joke tranquil, probably in bad taste,no offence meant, could have worded it better. This site used to be renowned for people sniping at others and I never have or ever intend to do that. Luckily now everyone seems to be friendlier.

No problem iang! It's the intent rather than the content that gets to me. Knowing that it was a **** take I see the funny side.
