Mood: Hmmm Conference season
Fil we bung rear tyres everyday and have never had an issue with them, I would do it on my racebike thats how confident i am in the repair.

Repair. Did it on a Bridgestone BT010 on my R6, rode it for another 1000 miles or so, regularly topping a ton etc. No probs, especially as it's in the middle.

Yea no worries, I have done them on Mucho more powerfull bikes with no issues, so long as the repairs are done correctly, and obviously the damage fits into the repairable catagory then there is no reason why not, And its a lot cheaper than a new tyre.

Ok Glynn - I defer to your greater knowledge on this subject. To date it wouldn't have been an option for me at all. In fact had a puncture on Dessie 3 days before Assen, replaced the tyre without a second thought.
