If your not selling for another 18 months then keep the 916 as over that period the R1's value will drop like a rock. I think the 916 might be at the bottom of its value already in terms of age (only condition and miles will lower it now). If anything they may end up going up in price again, although not in the next 18 months I would think.

I'd also say that if you think you could service the R1 yourself then you can easily service the 916.
