My old 749 did that once or twice, but then they would go out on their own.

Not something I was that bothered about because it didnt happen all the time, and btw, mine didnt have an alarm.

I've just taken the fairing off, and it seems that there is a ticking noise coming from the alarm too...

My mates did this and his had a meta alarm fitted, aparently it was water somewhere in the alarm from when he jetwashed it

I'm a complete knob. The alarm has got a hazard warning lights function. Didn't realise I pressed the button twice in 3 seconds though....
maybe i'll read the instructions now..
