If you want it to take a bullet cam then you need AV in.

: 900 went 999 gone, Multi came and went, 749 Nero now
Make sure you go for a 3CCD sensor, the picture improvement is immense.
Panasonic have some budjet models with this feature.
Dont wate money on other 'features' you'll never use.
