Yeah, my old slave cylinder was so worn I needed to bleed it every 80 miles or so. I heard that the later version was superior anyway so I decided to change to that one. I got a new slave cylinder and actuating rod off e-bay for £25 and £10 respectively, which I thought was spot on.
It was a Bike shop called Riders of Yeovil so they may have more if you want to try them for a rod. I’ve only done about 500 miles with the new set up, but I haven’t touched it since I put it on.
