Mood: wobbly !!!
Do the monster ones fit the SS? They seem to be slightly brighter.
Most of the time I have no idea when my indicators on or head light on main beam.
Still it could be worse, at least I dont own a BMW GS old mans bike thingie.

Hi Kev,

Can't say I've had this problem with my 93 900ss - I wonder if the the plastic windows have degraded in some way. No doubt it would have to be replaced with a full new unit but, they do come up on Ebay with some frequency.

As an aside have you checked your battery voltage and all the earth's recently?

Also, I wonder if the p*ss takers will be glad to pay for you to rebuild your engine when you can't see your oil press light come on

Cheers - Frank

Hi Kev,

My 600ss is the same and it has a brand new battery and newer regulator.

I put my 900ss ie in neutral the other day and nearly got blinded !!!

I'll post what to do when I've solved it, although its not really high on my priority list.

Andy

Same question asked here:

http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=7075

But with some reasonable replies - how unusual?
