What's the scoop on getting a 620 or a 583 through the quiet day noise tests ?

Only if you slip!

You'll probably have to give it a good drilling first as well

At Donington today the sound men were hanging around like a bad smell on the start finish, and several places around the circuit as well.............numerous people got black flagged!

None taken.

Single pipes are louder with killers, up to 106db

Our twin pipe makes 97 with killers, but it depends how they do it. Every test I've had (about 4) have all been different revs and distance from the pipe.

Our vfr 400 ran really hot yesterday..............yes i know it was the hottest day of the year, but when i took the db killer out it ran significantly cooler.....and thankfully it wasnt too loud to be flagged.

FYI

Our 583 was ok with a db killer on saturday, it's not the loudest 583 without one tho.

Right - I've booked the 12th so I'd better get 3 db killers sharpish then
