Help needed - speedo cable broken

Info that I have lists the SS series cable as item number:

403.1.004.1A

not sure how this relates to the 888 series.

I have a brand new cable,still in its wrapping,in the garage.

The SS cable fits better because its shorter, not such a tight bend, which I have been told is where they break. I had one on my last 888 fitted no probs.
