VeeDub Transporters?

So who's the wiz with these vans then?

Is there a spares list available for download somewhere like wot we can get for ducati's?
How d'you tune the **** outa them to make them a bit more nippy?
Are they good reliable workhorses that'll play nicely 'til the sun burns away?
Any decent websites with bags of info like wot we got going on here?
Does anyone care?!!

Cheers dude, good site.
Mine's a 1.9td so can't be 'chipped' apparently... it is, of course, a white one!

Is it a T4 or a T5? If it's a T5 1.9 they can be chipped, I know mine is! I'd be surprised if a T4 couldn't be, try looking here:

It's a T4.
Allegedly... the TDi can be chipped, the TD can't. I got a TD and it ain't too quick! Reading the forum posted by dcr, I'd need to wind up the turbo and add an intercooler which'd cost upwards of £600.

Nothing to stop me pimping it up tho!

lowering should be easy as the only springs to replace are fitted to the rear, the fronts are torsion bars and just need re-setting, i never did mine as i fitted it out as a camper and i needed the ride hight
