After speaking to jhp today service costs arent any worse than say a 748r unless the heads come off to do the shims, apparently this is pretty rare thankfully!

As for a 998 r, ive noticed a 998r and a 996r for sale this week.Both beautiful bikes but would i really want to use one if i had one? probably not

I think you should be more concerned about the well beign of the 749R than of the other relics
