Croft trackday video

It's a big file so, you will need broadband. 128Mb DivX format.

You'll get to see my poor 800 murdered down the straights by the big bikes and me lose the front end going into Tower Bazza'a m8 on a 999 comes past, I do him on the brakes into the hairpin and some geezer on a ZX10R continually gets in my way.

Brilliant footage Nige

I thought you were going well until Todd Landis came past on his push bike

Actually, it never fails to amaze me how people with fast bikes can't go around corners properly, but how fast are they in a straight line!!!

Of course me lines are right! Except when trying to squeeze past on the inside or having a look There were times when I wished I had a bit more power against those big 4's as I found myself hanging back a bit...normally if it was race day or practice I'd put a pass in.

Well not entirely correct - sure the two straights are quite long and stretch your motor but, as you can see there's plenty of opportunity to peg them back when it comes to cornering. I like the Jim Clarke Esses all the way through the the hairpin - I usually close the gap back up there. Think of it as a big Pembrey.
My hairpin line is not correct - you need to take it much wider - I go in tight to get past people on the brakes. Similarly, Tower should be taken with a late and fast turn in. Everything else as you see me do it.

Reminds me of doing trackdays on the ST2, going around people on corners only to have my glorious 85 bhp ass kicked as soon as there's a straight bit.

Still, it looks as if it'll have to be the ST again at Cadwell. I'd rather track the T8 but getting it prepped in time is a bit of a headache.
