i've got no options, i have to fly for work. I've got no problem with the current level of checking but am not looking forward to 13 hour flights with no ipod, laptop or magazines I was on a US flight straight after 9/11 it didn't feel any different then with all the extra checks, but it will now with no personal items allowed

As has been said, the risks are small, its more dangerous to drive to the airport than it is fly using a major airline out of London.
