What about flights into the UK? My next trip will be back in from Frankfurt, have they stopped all hand luggage and put the same restrictions in place for incoming flights?

wouldnt make any difference to me. i like going to new places as often as i can. i have been to plenty of places where there is a high risk of terrorist attacks or where there have been recent atrocities but would still go. i work in london anyway so risks from terrorism is part of life. unfortunately it is for many people these days. the only thing you can certain of is thats its here to stay.

Just came back from Barcelona - absolutely no restriction on hand luggage from Spain.
Mind you, it was a complete arse getting luggage at LGW - took 2.5 hrs, just what you need when your flight is already 3 hrs late and it's 3am and the children are a bit "crotchety".....!!!

Well I just got back from taking someone to heathrow.


mmmmmmmmmmmm Parked in short stay!
Walked her str8 through to first class!
Waited with her while she checked in !
Had a coffee !
Walked str8 back out and left!!!!!!!!

What security?
wern't stopped!
Wern't approached!

The car park looked like a a scene from M.A.S.H loads of white tents and people queing and shouting and getting all upset with each other!



If I were a terrorist I could have blew the Terminal sky High !!!!!!!

..I fly EVERY WEEK for work..sometimes TWICE...
It is going to be a HUGE pain in the .... for a lot of people...

I know well that everyone can be a terrorist - no matter race or religion - but I have nothing against profiling!! I can't believe what I am reading on the newspapers....
If the majority of terrorists were coming from Rome.. I will NOT have a problem to be searched everytime I get a flight!!
