Mood: I own a flame thrower
Had two 749 and on both bikes I've had the bolts that hold the headlight casing to the head stock come loose. Before I spotted the problem first time I actually lost 2 of the 4 bolts

The top fairing, mirror supports, mirrors, clocks, fuse box, headlights etc all mount to the big heavy headlight casing and this is only held to the head stock with 4 off M6 bolts.

If these come loose all the front end body work etc can feel loose.

First thing I do now is fix these bolts in place with a drop of loctite threadlock.

Easy and cheap fix.
