I'm struggling with the different riding styles needed as I haven't ridden both.
Both the 583 and 620 are all but identical apart from say 10hp difference so why does one lend itself to a corner speed riding style when neither have too much hp ?
I've followed the same good rider on a 583 and a 620 and corner speed was always the same, the only difference was the straight line speed which I think is shown in the lap times between the best 583 and the best 620.

Maybe the top 583 riders are trying extra hard as they do have the least hp and when they move up they find the extra 10hp a luxury !
