I was going to write something really interesting and profound.
but I cant be arsed.
Paul with regard to your other thread.
I don't understand peoples need to make such public statements about whether they are staying or leaving.
and the reaction you have received is a little overwhelming but good for the club.
luckily the majority of us love it. and are prepared to put our hands in our pockets to keep it going.
What sort of response did you want to get from your thread

I think you're wrong again You free not to review, nobody would care, but what's the point of posting a message here for that???????? If don't want to be judged, just shut up If I don't want to read people telling me I'm wrong (as I'm usually), I just shut up.

That's the daft thing about freedom of speech - everyone's entitled to state their opinion, even if their opinion is that you shouldn't express yours!

Nice one........

That's why I usually don't take part in debates, I'm quite often wrong.
But then I'm not fool enough to start them.

I'm sorry mate, I clearly don't understand spirit. I'm just a foreigner, don't blame me if I can't be as clever as you are.

so because I dont pay I cant air a view - I take it you have told Henners this too? and all the others on here without a roundEl

I dont make polictical statements, only have a go when i think something unfair is happeneing, I dont make unwarranted inflamitary statements, I dont make personal remarrks but I get them aimed at me...all because I choose not to renew?? what do you think this is, the mafia?? or is it becasue i am a lone vioce, ie no backing from others on here, that its easy to try and bully me from the keyboard?? I suggest anyone who has an issue with me or a personal attack thing to say to me do it in person, not on here, if its anything other than a bit o banter....I will probably now be at the pub in wargrave Sunday if you want to discuss...public place so anyone can join, not just members!!

feedback, an important part of any business when it has customers...clearly you lot miss the point!

rant over

You know, I really don't know what you are trying to say here and I don't think you know either - there's no personal remarks aimed at you whatsoever from me or anyone else.

Abstaining from a vote in political process is not acceptable in my view but if you choose to do so you forfeit the right to air your views in public debate. I think the practice, adopted in many countries, of being liable to a fine for not voting is an excellent idea.

Anyway ... answer me this - why do you think it's so important that we, paid up members and any prospective members, who maybe viewing this board, feel the need to know that you're not renewing? It's detrimental to the wellbeing of the club - I think you have a chip a la shoulder mate.

Also it's naive of you to assume, that a post like this, won't warrant some flak from those of us that choose to renew and continue supporting the club, however I do agree that personal attacks are taboo!

Personally I feel it is a shame that Henners, CK and Dibble are no longer members of this club but I understand why they aren't and those reasons are of a personal nature (PM me if I'm wrong to identify you guys). They have rightful greviances that don't need to be aired in public.

Basically, if you're leaving the club leave - don't tell the world.

See you at the George on Sunday.

I wish I could write that well. As Everton says, from me too there was nothing personnaly directed to you. A mate of mine would have posted that kind of post I would have reacted in the same way...

I won't see you at the George, but maybe another time
