Mood: anamorphic with overtones of sanguineness!
I have an 851. Not a 888. And a 50mm system is perfect for an 888, as long as cams are dailed in,and its heads have had a good talking to. And of coarse a nice serve of light crisp chip! "Got to get 'em flowing, to get 'em going!"
If not either one will still give good results.
For me 45mm is el perfecto. They work so well I think due to the header manifold being 10 years futher advanced in design than the old 50mm. One day I will actually get to start my bike and find out.
