Mood: Impatiently awaiting parts!
I've got 3 brackets that are supposed to fix the belly pan to the bike so that I can remove the side panels without taking the belly pan off.

From this thread I've learned where 2 of them go but can any one of you tell me where the third one goes. I suspect it's up front somewhere.

Thanks!

You mean there's another bracket, couple of my bikes only have the two at the back
Any chance of a pic of the third bracket

Yes, the set of brackets I bought contains 3 brackets and I suspect one of them goes up front but I'm not sure.

I believe the bracket on the left and right in the picture are the ones that mount on each side of the engine (rear end of the belly pan).

I don't have a clue about the one in the middle, though.

It would make sense if it mounts to the front of the belly pan, wouldn't it?

If not, how do you make sure the belly pan stays in place when you remove the two side fairings?

Yes, there is a bracket on the nose of the belly pan. I'll try to post a pic of how it all fits. It will then allow you to leave the belly pan in place with the side panels removed.

Bracket on left of Pic fits rear rigtht of belly pan as it mounts off the two screws that bolt the rear mastercylinder on. The bracket in the middle fits to the rear left of the bellypan using a 10mm bolt and uses the threaded hole in the crankcases just rearward of where the sidestand bolts on, Bracket on right of pic must be for the front of the bellypan but as I haven't seen one before I have no idea where it fits.

The front belly pan bracket has a Dzus fastener that goes throught the V piece, where it steps in for the mesh vent hole.

By the way, where can I got hold of a similar belly pan for my track bike?
