Wink S'pose it's about time...

PSY(cho-cy)CLIST (used to race at club level and always suffered going uphill, so had to make good use of my gravity assisted descents, I was the nutter carving round the outside of the peleton at 60+mph!). Learnt the art of massage when I got into Triathlons and competed up to half-Iron Man for several years before d.i.v.o.r.c.e. took away my ability to do anything but survive and my 900 Daytona.
Apprenticed as a Draughtsman before the advent of CAD (bl00dy computer games, pah!), now an office manager running a configuration database (even bigger computer games, zzzz!) for RN-MoD (damn, I shouldn't have said that, I'll have to get you all shot now). Former qualified driving instructor, I've been a temporary postman, a Special Constable and before that spent 9 years bobbing around the S.W Approaches with the part time grey funnel line punctuated with short spells haring around the coast of N.Ireland in overpowered bathtubs, they took away my SLR badge with their minesweepers and made me an SA80 marksman (yes SA80, really good once you'd had the opportunity to, err, personalise your own issued one) and GI (drill instructor)
Always been into motorbikes, was a member of the National Motorcycle Escort Group, been RoSPA for decades, done a bit of courier work in my yoof (London to Cardiff mainly, good ole 'Wing!), more recently IAM and instructing, ex-DD racer now joined the DSC MT!
Still struggling to finish my apprenticeship to be a lingerie fitter tho, done 25 of the 40 years required to qualify, so I just gotta keep practising

spent the last 10 years as a professional motorcycle rider (postie in oz, we ride the firebreathing honda ct110!) currently a spare parts interpreter for a local 7 franchise dealer, awaiting my start as mature age apprentice as a electrical fitter mechanic.

Mood: Looking for a one way ticket to the 'Ring.
I restore old high end wrist and pocket watches, make parts and generally bang my head against the wall trying to resurect what the cowboys have trashed.

er, Jason Boswell

Head up the online commercial team at soon-to-be Virgin Media (old ntl:Telewest cable company).

So I spend most of my days working out how we are going to make money from footy and sports content / music downloads / movie downloads etc. Enjoying it at the moment - I get to work with the Virgin Yamaha team this coming season ;-)
