Smile Ducatisaarland ?

Has anyone had dealings with the above company in Germany?

There web site is www.ducatisaarland.de and they have some interesting items especially a 999 style top yoke made for the 916/998 series.

Any comments would be appreciated.

So! is £217 a reasonable price to pay for a 999 type top yoke to fit a 998?

That includes postage.

I'd say putting 999 bits on a 998 is like winning a gold medal, then getting it silver-plated!

I can understand your reasoning Moto but the top yoke on a 749/999 is a rather tasty bit of kit.

The 999 yoke does indeed fit a 998 but the damper mounts are no good, it was just by chance that I found the german one and it will accomodate the Ohlins damer etc without any mods to the bike at all.

I have also seen a couple of 998 race bikes that use a modified 999 yoke with no damper mounts, ie machined off
