I made a copy of the ducati engine stand. This will support the wseight of the bike enough to do what you want with the front in the air.

I like both ideas, but am not DIY capable enough to make my own!

Andy, how did you make a copy of the engine stand?

hi khu996 buy a car jack take the front ex pipe just the first section 2 nuts 1 spring piece off wood jack under sump.

for the dimensions i borrowed a genuine one........bit of welding, a couple of £5 scissor jacks and voila!

I am impressed! Thats very smart...and just what I need.

Now to borrow a genuine stand and make my own (or get someone to do it for me!).....

I think the genuine one is in the £200........s

I was thinking of selling this one...................
