Yep - nice idea Giz.

I can see that for owners with 20-odd bikes (Skidlids) and those who have to have the highest post count each day (Domski...etc etc)
it might lengthen the post size considerably

Seriously thou - yep - most users should have a bike on their profile, I've asked a few users to specify a model recently when they are
trying to buy / sell parts and have forgot to say which it is.....

Rob - 68 users listed for Surrey alone.

Searching by location (as long as a user has entered one) is not too hard really....

1) Go to the members list:

http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/memberlist.php

2) Look for the link 'Search Members' roughly down from the login area.

3) In the 'pop-up' that appears - select: 'Advanced Search'

4) All sorts of search options will then appear - in this case stick 'Surrey' in the location field and press your Enter key and your local buddies will appear.

Have Fun - Frank

thanks Frank, I think it's possible to limit the length of the field in postbit or restrict the amount of characters on input so that would solve the longpost bit problem
