I didn't hear the booing on TV, but that's shocking. Kiyo is a genuine nice guy who can ride a bike darn fast. I'm appalled and embarassed.

With regard to the second race, I don't see the problem. Kiyo only needed to finish in the top four so he backed off and let Leon win. Rea will be riding for HM Plant next year, and is currently in a satellite team, so I wouldn't have expected anything other than to backup his future team mate. He fought with Karl towards the end for championship position - I don't think Honda orchestrated that!

We didn't hear any booing and we were there in the middle of it all. Strange. There was a lot of cheering and some Japanese flags flying.
The crowd were chanting 'Leon'. That's about it.
In my opinion it wasn't great that both races and the championship were gifted by others misfortunes. But that's racing.
Shakey seems ok but I can't find any news on poor Tommy.
We had a fab couple of days in Ozz's 'royal' box, with great company. Thanks Ozz. Let's hope your friend delivers the goods next year too :-)

Never heard any booing, but then we were on the m25 heading home after 6 laps of 2nd race, could see how it was going to pan out barring crashes,so an early exit was a shrewd move to beat the rush.

Cracking weekend as usual though, great to meet up with Annette and Dickie for cider and ice cream at paddock hill,Ozz for the yap and shower at the chinese..! and great to see the elusive 'Copeus photographus' out in its natural enviroment, lurking in the woods with his long one..

Thanks must go to the following:
Airwaves hospitality for the nicest coffee.
The Bates motel for accomodation.
Itv for the commentary box.
The kent dogging club at sheene curve(you know who you are).
Shakey'check out my motor home' Byrne and John Hopkins for keeping it real.
The girls in The Lion at Farningham, for bluetooth filth..ding dong,
And Finally,Andrew '15 flushes' Pugsley for the laughs..

Cheers all,Moggers@couldntbearsedtoclimbthestairs.com

Yep got to agree with the others. I was only 20-30 yards from the podium and could hear only applause and cheers for Kiyo

What I did find disgusting was the attitude of the organisers in letting things drag on and then cancel the 2nd supersport race.

I was leant on the side of the podium taking shots when the presentations were made and it DEFINITELY was Booing.

Most of it came from a bunch of piiissssed up fans stood in front of the podium, one of which incidently had Leon's girlfriend Ollie on his shoulders. She was trying to get them to calm down which I think worked as they then started praising Kiyo.

Sad really.......but an unfortunate side to a lot of sporting events.
