There's a place in Bradford called UK Suspension which fits hardened inserts with taper roller bearings for around the £30-40 mark.....I had an SS shock done there and it was a good job!
My 851 shock bottom mounts gone (same shock as 888) and I was going to do the same thing....cheaper than a new shock methinks.....
