Mood: Flange - it's a state of mind....
Slidlids - sounds pretty much how my bikes set up less 3mm off the front & no mag bits!

Thinking I might try 24mm sag on the front to calm it down a bit........

dont forget its more than the mags bits, they're also longer, which makes up for head angles etc etc

Correct
Chef says his bike is less stable but I have addressed that problem in the same way as the factory race bikes did, by increasing the wheel base, altering the weight bias and altering the trail.
To an extent I have slowed down the steering but this is then compensated for by the longer bars, lighter wheels and a softly set steering damper.
