Not quite the same.

Went to Wales to do some off road training, the guys said you would fall off, I thought NO WAY, I'm a decent mountain biker and I'm ok at offroad stuff.......yes way!
Fortunately they were the comedy fall off at 0 mph on a bend as the front wheel dug in and generally then fell in a bush.

1) Assen Last chicane before checkered flag met Butch at the entrance end up on my Head in the Gravel. No Damage
2) Donnington Chicane before the start finish straight in timed practice, dragged brake on a wet line, you'll never guess what happened .......
new foot rest, paracetamol and imodium required
3) Snetterton (horrible place) dry practice, 2nd lap of the day get knee down (unusual), everything else follows 50ft on my butt again, new brake lever, foot rest, more Paracetamol and a bollocking from the wife...

New helmets 3

A numb brain, cold tyres and a slippery roundabout did for me at the beginning of the season. Side fairing, nose cone, screen, rear fairing, levers, brake reservoir, mudguard, forks, lower fork yoke, I forget what else ... at least my leathers were repairable.

Not a lot of fun I don't think my confidence really returned all year.

Here's to next year, though!

Dropped my 998s going up a kerb to get into a shop for its MOT, cost approx £700 to put right, now all I`m weighting for is my seat & panels back from ProTwins!

Had my first, ever!!, off at the recent Cadwell DD Race 1.

I was only talking to Senna3 about his first DD off the day before!!!

Mended the bike and went back out to win Class B Race 2.

Lightbulb

I had a little slide at Paddock Hill during a DD race at Brands
Prior to that I'd tried to lean on Senna3 a bit too much in Hall Bends at the DD race at Cadwell and needed to polish out a few scratches
